Paul D. Dugas

Paul D. Dugas

Apostolic Preacher, Founder, and Defender of Holiness

Rev. Paul D. Dugas was a dedicated Apostolic preacher, teacher, and spiritual leader known for his unwavering commitment to holiness, separation from worldliness, and the full gospel message of Acts 2:38. Born in the early 20th century and a veteran of World War II, Brother Dugas served his generation faithfully, both in the service of his country and in the army of the Lord.

He was the founding pastor of Abundant Life Church in St. Johns, Oregon, where he labored for decades to establish a work built on prayer, doctrine, and godly living. A man of strong convictions and tender compassion, Brother Dugas called saints to a life of holiness, boldly warning against the creeping influences of entertainment, vanity, and compromise in the modern church.

He was also the founder of Apostolic Book Publishers (ABP) in the 1970s — a ministry born out of a burden to preserve and publish sound Apostolic teaching. Through ABP, he championed books and tracts that upheld the Oneness of God, the necessity of Jesus’ name baptism, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost.

If Prophet or Priest cover

If Prophet or Priest

PROPHET OR PRIEST? The modern pastor faces more demands than ever before. Administrator. Counselor. Shepherd. Teacher. Leader. Yet amid the pressures of church growth, organization, and public ministry, one question remains: Has the preacher remained a prophet of God, or has he become merely a ministering priest? In this challenging and thought-provoking work, the author calls ministers back to the divine priority of Spirit-anointed preaching. Drawing from Scripture, church history, revival movements, and practical ministry experience, he examines the vital role of the preacher as God’s voice to a generation desperately in need of truth. The church does not merely need more administrators—it needs prophets who will faithfully proclaim the Word of God.
